Greater body of his work revolves around Gujrat featuring the changing role of urban life and the inherent violence therein. The Gujrat riot, the nuclear tests of Pokhran etc found their place in his canvas through juxtaposing of images creating movement and “a haze of memories” in artist’s words. His usage of motifs like the rickshaw, rocking chair, wooden doll as silent witness to urban atrocities acts as a mirror of the contemporary society as he interprets it.
