The artist draws his inspiration from the corridors of childhood and its innocent years. The follies and frolics of childhood often create change in the hard realities of life. Yet it’s these innocence, enthusiasm and imagination that entice the artist which he visually narrates through simple lines, and tonal variation kept minimal to create the desired effect of black and white. Working with solid colours he explores the dimensions of fantasy blended to verbalize the reality that is far removed from childhood innocence mirroring the harsh reality called life, politics, and human nature. The soulful eyes of the sombre figures bespeaks of the break in the fantasy of a childhood and acts as a reflection of the harsh realities of life around.
