Born in Amravati Maharashtra in 1985, Rajesh completed his Bachelor of Fine Art, Painting Department Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai 2012, Maharashtra, and his Master of Fine Arts Painting Department Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai in 2015.
He has participated in multiple group-shows in India and in 2022 he had participated in “ANIMALIA “Group exhibition, Schloss Eyrichsh of Germany amongst many others. He has also taken part in workshops in and around Maharashtra.
Over the years he has been given multiple awards and in 2015 he won the Prafulla Dhanukar special award gold medal in the annual exhibition of Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai amongst few others.
As an existential artist his soul-searching questions tempers his works. Finding happiness in the expected and the unexpected he is drawn inwards as much as he is drawn outwards. His reflective mind with a spiritual bend can be felt in the figures of his painting, their gestures and their presence question the reality, adding yet another dimension to it; while the gentleness of his soul can be felt in the soft luminous landscapes he paints.
