The artist born in 1975 did his Graphic course from Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata and completed his Printmaking from the Open School of Printmaking in Santiniketan.
He participated in a group show in Tokyo Japan in 2005, 1st Print Biennale India, ND organised by Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi 2018, and Bharat Bhawan International Print Biennale in 2008; the 62nd National Exhibition by Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi 2021,amongst several shows in Kolkata .
Artist had his solo exhibition in 2005 and 2007 at Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata and received his scholarship from there.
Recipient of Gold Medal from Avantika he has several awards to his credit. He was also awarded a cash prize for his” Watcher” series in print making from the AIFACS in 2015 in its 88th All India Annual Art Exhibition.
Working mostly through Lino-cut, Etching Plates, and Lithographs he works on the flora and the fauna and the interconnectedness of it with the urban-scapes.
