Born in 1960, the veteran artist Mohan Naik did his Bachelor of Fine Arts Goa College of Art Bombay University in1989.
Through the span of his long artistic journey from the eighties, first in
1987 State art exhibition Kala Academy Goa he has attended innumerable group shows in Goa, New Delhi, Jaipur, Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Singapore.
Since 1988 till 2014 he has attended several camps across Mumbai and Goa and solo showcased his works at a stretch from 1992 till 2024 extensively in Goa, Mumbai, New- Delhi, Bengaluru and in 2011 Solo Show at the Frames Gallery Scotland UK. And his work was exhibited in several important shows from 1998 to 2025 nationally and internationally.
His work has been exhibited online by Art Magnum Delhi, By Mojarto , Carpe Diem Goa and also as part of several fundraiser organizations through the years -2020-2023. Even copy rights of his works are taken by Oxford India ltd and Cry Archies Ltd.
Some of his works have been auctioned to raise fund on several occasions of natural disasters, charity auction by CRY foundation, Califronia, charity auction by Spandan amongst many others.
Mohan Naiks paintings are a reflection of his childhood memories surrounding the village setting of Goa. The idyllic rustic life turns beautiful through his sensuous treatment of the subjects.
