Sujit completed his B.F.A. degree at the College of Visual Art, Khairagarh University in 2005.
He held his first solo exhibition at Taj Bengal, Kolkata in 2008, followed by a second solo at the Ahuja Museum for Art in 2010. He has also participated in several group shows in Kolkata and New Delhi, and received the Best Exhibit Award in Watercolour from St. Xavier’s College in 2002.
With experience in mural painting and set designing, Sujit's passion for art is clearly visible in his multi-layered works. He experiments with pop art, themes like the life of a child, city life, and especially women figures with their expressive features.
His artworks are rich in colour and vibrant, featuring a unique technique that results in a stylized and versatile portrayal of women icons, cars, and other modern and contemporary visuals in acrylic, giving his paintings a digital effect.
