The artist completed her graduation in fine arts (painting) with gold medal in 2002 and then advanced to the master’s degree in creative composition (painting) with merit in 2004 from Khairagarh University, C.G.
With a career spanning more than two decades, Kriti She has participated in over fifty (50) national & international exhibitions in Mumbai, Jaipur, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, Odissa, Lucknow Chandigarh and internationally in Sydney, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia. She has been part of many residencies, workshops and camps in her career. Kriti has been felicitated with various awards for her artistic contribution during her journey in the arts field.
This consistently evolving contemporary Indian Artist is a visual figurative artist experimenting with new techniques and mediums on canvas. Various human expressions in her art are depicted in a contemporary milieu with the adequate use of abstraction, in which the inclusion of fantasy and, sometimes surrealism makes the characters vivid.
In the words of the artist: My work captures these universal experiences, weaving together elements of reality and fantasy, ambition and spirituality. These collective fragments of human existence, captured within abstracted backgrounds, signify life’s cycles and the interconnectedness of experience I aim for expressiveness in my compositions by depicting real-life subjects—figures representing human nature and resilience—against backgrounds that symbolize the fluidity of life.
These find their truest expressions through her sometimes surreal work with their dream like connotations and vivid adaptations at others.
