Born in 1981 Chavan did drawing and painting from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune- 2010
Diploma in Sculpture and Modelling from Sir J J School of Art, Mumbai 2014. He attended three
workshops: Monsoon Art Camp by ‘Chinmaya Vibhuti’ 2022 South Central Zone, Khajuraho- 2008,
Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi 2013; and was given Scholarship Lalibhai Bambhani Scholarship in
2021 and Surbhi Nag Foundation in 2011.He was the recipient of 4 th Tagore International Award,
Bhopal, 2022, Pune Festival 2010 Bombay Art Society 2022 State Art Award, Maharashtra State,
2021.
