“The differences between old historical residues and today’s contemporary culture affected my way of dealings with my work. I created a narration by juxtaposition of different images at different times and varied culture within a single pictorial frame which is able to create a magical reality.”

Born in 1976 the artist did his B.V.A (Bachelor of visual arts) from The Indian College of Art and Draftsmanship (Rabindra Bharati University) in 2004.

He was awarded ORA top ten Award by Mojarto MOJARTO,NEW DELHI 2020, preceded by Certificate of Merit in the Annual Exhibition of Rajya Charukala Parshad in 2019, 8 th AIFACS Award Annual Exhibition of Digital Art AIFACS, New Delhi 2018 amongst others. He has participated in several camps and workshops in Kolkata and Bengaluru from 2014 to 2018; and has been part of several group shows since 2008 till 2022. Some of them are as mentioned: CIMA Award Show 2022 KOLKATA, 54 th Annual Exhibition of “Birla Academy of Art and Culture” 2021 KOLKATA, 126 th All India Annual Art Exhibition “The Bombay Art Society” 2018 Mumbai, 58 th National Exhibition of Art, Lalit Kala Academy 2017 Bengaluru amidst many others.
