Born in 1983 this young artist from Kerala, did his DMC, Diploma in Painting, GD. Art,
MFA in Creative Painting at Mahalasa School of Art, Mangalore. Over the following
years he has done several solo shows in Mangalore and Mumbai last being in 2021.
He has also attended many camps in Bangalore and Mangalore, Pune, Karnataka and
has participated in innumerable group shows. His works are in collection in several
Indian states and in Dubai, London, New York Canada, and Abu Dhabi.
He is the recipient of several awards amongst many others like:
Kannada Kairali Achievers Award at Kasaragod-2012.
Kadri Lions Kannada Rathna Achievers Award by Lions Club Kadri, Mangalore, 2014.
The semi abstract work speaks of the sensitive handling of the subject. The bold strokes
in lighter shades create the soft yet, distinctive features of the form something very
ordinary made special through the artist’s touch.
